Meta Tec currently has two facilities located within 10 miles of each other. The main facility is located in Lacon, Illinois that contains 120,000 square feet of manufacturing space with room for potential expansion. One of the strategic decisions the company made during the recent years of expansion was the isolation of the precision machine shop from the first cut torches and welders. This allowed the machine shop area to be completely climate controlled with air conditioning and dehumidification. Other features of the building include an isolated paint/cleaning area, overhead crane in first cut/fabrication area, and isolated blast booth/deslag area. The building currently is situated on a five-acre tract of land; an additional 5-acre tract is available for future expansion.

Meta Tec’s second location is in Varna, Illinois. This facility contains over 41,000 square feet of manufacturing space, which is set up to handle low volume frames, components and piece parts. Manual machining operations and large parts that require shot blasting are also completed at this facility.
